Denmark
Denmark, located in Northern Europe, is a Scandinavian country and known as the Kingdom of Denmark. Since 1973, it's been a member of the European Union. However, Denmark has not adopted the Euro as its currency. The country also stands as a founding member of NATO. Denmark doesn't rely on any country when it comes to energy - producing oil, natural gas, wind- and bio-energy. There are many multi-national companies located in Denmark. Some of them are: A. P. Moller-Maersk Group, Danfoss, Lego, Bang & Olufsen, Carlsberg, Vestas, Novozymes and the pharmaceutical companies Lundbeck and Novo Nordisk.
