Peru
Peru, located in Western South America, is officially known as the Republic of Peru. It is among the largest producers of coca leaves in the world and they are mainly exported to Colombia where they are used to make cocaine. The chief economic activities of the country are fishing, mining, agriculture and products manufacturing like textiles. Main agricultural productions of Peru are sugarcane, rice, potatoes, corn, asparagus, cotton, coffee, plantains, grapes and oranges. The mining industry of the country is also huge and copper and silver stand as the most important minerals. Other than that, Gold, iron ore, coal, and phosphate rock are also produced.
